Dr. Leistikow is a native of the Iowa farmlands who continues to enjoy a country and farming lifestyle here in beautiful Colorado. He is a graduate of the University of Iowa Medical School. He is Board Certified in Family Medicine, Holistic Medicine as well as Brief Psychotherapy under Hypnosis. He started the Brief Psychotherapy Institute of the Rockies with Dr. Scott and Debbie Holliday www.bpiotr.com. As he enjoys teaching, he holds faculty instructor positions with the University of Colorado and the Deepak Chopra Meditation Centers. As a pilot, he enjoys flying planes. He uses his body and mind medicine to sustain a happy and healthy lifestyle as a tri athlete in his spare time. He is married to Dr. Kandel and they have 3 grown children.
